PAC awarded 2008 TSC Kaizen Champion - Class A Category |

“The QC Eye 2” from QC Inspection Department of PAC awarded as 2008 TSC Kaizen Champion in the 9th Toyota Supplier’s Club (TSC) Kaizen Competition- Class A Category. The competition was held at the TASC Conference Room, TMP-Sta. Rosa Plant last November 12, 2008. Being a Class A TSC Champion among nine competing teams from different companies, qualifies PAC in the Class A1 Category of TSC Kaizen competition to be held next year. Class A1 category composed of suppliers who won Grand Champion in the Class A category.
The PAC Kaizen team from QC Inspection Dept was the 2008 champion in the PAC 8th In-house QCC Competition held at PAC Conference Room last September 9, 2008. The group represented by Ker Cruz, Adonis Guardian, Junolee Guerina, Erwin Masangkay, Evalane Balbuena, Amy Lucas and Anna Montes with QCC Advisers: Dante Oliveria, Leonyl Cacpal and Yob Bunda. The said group will compete in the upcoming DENSO ASEAN QCC Convention to be held in 2009 at DENSO International Thailand.

PAC received DENSO President Silver Award |

PAC received the prestigious DENSO PRESIDENT AWARD - garnering second place (Silver prize) among 173 companies of DENSO Group worldwide, The award was based on sales perfomance, profits, product quality, safety management and company vision.
Mr. Satoshi Sugiura - President of Philippine Auto Components, Inc. together with Masashi Ogasawara, Vice President - TIE & Plant manager went to DENSO Corporation Japan last June 20, 2008 to recieve the award of excellence. They were accompanied by (2) two other employees; Mr. Ricky Sancon and Ms. Amy Buhay.

New PAC Design Center Office |
|
 Philippine Auto Component Design Center (PAC DC)is now housed in a new office located at the 12th Floor, of The Paragon Corporate Centre in Industry St. Madrigal Business Park, Alabang Muntinlupa City-- leaving its former office in Sycamore Building.
After the long holiday break last December 21, 2007, PAC DC resumed operations in January 3, 2008 in its new, bigger and better workplace housed in Alabang. With a total floor area of 796 sqm, the new office will serve PAC DC’s increasing workforce which has been steadily rising to complement its operation objectives.

7th In-House Kaizen Competition |
|
 The 7th In-House Competition was held last September 21, 2007 at the PAC PR Hall. Each Quality Control (QC) Circle exerted effort to present their works of creativity and hard work to the distinguished panel of judges and guests. Among the nine competing teams, the SIFSchronizer of Production SIFS Section claimed the Championship award.

Toyota Supplier's Club Kaizen Competition Class A Category
After winning the In-House Quality Control Circle (QCC) Competition last September 2007, the SIFSChronizer represented PAC in the Class A Category of the Toyota Supplier's Club (TSC) Kaizen Competition held at TMP Sta. Rosa last November 2007 and won fourth place.
The experience was memorable to all team members for they performed with great courage and pride, wowing the audience with their teamwork and creativity.
At present, the team is preparing for its next goal - to become the champion in the next TSC Kaizen Competition.
