Puso ng Pasko - a Christmas program facilitated by the District Rotaract 3790 in cooperation with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority at Nagbayan Elem. School, Catillejos, Zambales with more than 250 indigent public elementary school kids as beneficiaries and with more than 40 Rotaractors as participants in the event proper.

Rotaractors were in charge of facilitating the program as well as with provision of candy bags for all the kids, game prizes, and special gift for the school - 2 sets of general reference encyclopedia and another set of a nature & science encyclopedia. On the other hand, SBMA was in charge of food provision for everyone and transportation of all the Rotaract volunteers, dispatching one of its corporate buses. The event was also covered by SBMA Media Relations Office.

School’s Parents-Teachers-Children’s Association set up the stage and school grounds for the activity and helped the Rotaractors out in preparing and serving lunch and snacks for everyone.

The program is the first of the two scheduled legs of District Christmas Gift Giving projects of D3790 this Rotary Year. With this first leg intended for the school kids, the second leg, on the other hand is intended for the elderly of Bahay Puso Apostolate, a Home for the Aged at Balanga City, Bataan.

Rac3790 extends its gratitude to SBMA, Rotary Clubs of Cluster 4-C, D3790 especially RC-Olongapo for the sets of encyclopedia, and participating Rotaract Clubs.
